C4 LSX Swap

Thanks for the update Dalen. Somewhat of a downer for sure but to be honest, that stock C4 driveline was never expected to withstand that many ponies. And 640 at the wheels, starts out at considerably more than than as you move forward from the wheels. We live and learn and each of your builds has gotten better, as I'm sure over the winter, the next time around will be better again.

Lots of work and modifications for the C4 in 2023 . New turbo, it’s going to make some power! But I need to do a bunch of work to fit on cold side and hot side , 4” exhaust off this bad boy! I ordered a “8.50 cert roll cage“ that still needs to be installed, and it will need modifications. NHRA rules are not clear and trying to mount in C4 Vette is troubling. Also still need to decide on the differential and IRS to launch this hot rod . Have to get on this thing, to be ready for Miles of Mayhem 2023!

You the man Dalen. Can't wait to see this build perform.

Been busy getting NOT a lot done . Going to send the exhaust out the hood with a 4” Y-pipe on a electric cut-out and 3”-3 1/2” out the back for street driving. The new turbo needs a 4” exhaust dump, and there is NO WAY of fitting the 4” out the back, I swear it’s twice as big as 3” . I have also been doing some side hustling to keep the garage funds rolling, most recent one a 2006 Yukon XL in need of a motor. This putting the C4 on the back burner, with kids activities and family time, because that is also important . I would love to keep this Yukon, but some quick cash on a flip hopefully

Looking good Dalen. FYI...I put a coffee can over the vertical exhaust on my old tractor to keep the rain out...

You have been busy over the winter...even took out the back seat to install a roll bar...great work
