I'm pretty sure Brad put a set of Sylvania Silverstar sealed beams in his '89 and it made a noticeable difference. I believe he ordered them through Canadian Tire.

There is a number of conversion kits available for your lights. You can even go to a non-pop up set up if you could stand the ribbing Wayne and I'll give you.
Here is a quick Google search kit that might interest you. I believe Corvette Central also has a version.

I've had Part Source set asside a pair of Silverstars for me and will pick them up this evening.
Tomorrow I'll post a comparo of the OEM bulbs alongside the Silverstars for those interested.

Look forward to your review. I replaced my sealed beams last year with Sylvania Extravision lights and noticed some improvement over the old lights that were in it. I would have liked to have used the Silverstars but they don't make them in a 4-light round size; Extravision is the top line in that style.
They would appear to be a good OEM replacement, Greg -- short of maybe the HID blue bulb system which is much more money.
I found the H6054's at CTC and Part Source tho CTC was OOS -- I'll have P/S price match them for me since their asking price is $8/ higher.
