billy bob and the trooper.

Reminds me of a corner store where I grew up. The owner sold pocket books ( soft cover ) among other things of course but he had a permanently displayed sign stating “ pocket books regularly 20 cents a piece, now 5 for a dollar “ . Now that’s a deal !
We had an owner operated corner store across the street from my high school. Cigarettes were $1.00 a pack but he wanted to sell to the kids so he'd open packs and sell them individually to us for a dime apiece or 3 for a quarter.. Guessing he'd get into trouble in this day and age... lol...

We had a corner store that did the same. Hate to admit it but I also recall a pack of 20 under a dollar. I quit a long time ago but heard someone mention that they were now over $20 . Expensive to slowly kill your self these days…..

25 years ago I said if you really want to stop people from smoking raise the legal smoking age by one year every year. Eventually everyone would quit and youth wouldn't start and you'd still get the taxes.

They have proposed that if not yet implemented it in the UK . Another incentive to quit would be a price of $75 a package although that would just increase the amount of bootleg smokes I suppose. It’s a terribly difficult addiction to quit. “ They “ say it’s as bad or worse than heroin.

I know! LOL. We quit about 25 years ago after smoking for 35 years. We tried gum, patches and Zyban. Nothing worked for me, but when Zyban worked for my wife I went cold turkey for the 3rd time. I found the willpower. The trick IMO is to keep people from starting in the first place. I still miss some aspects of it.

I just cut and paste. eazy peezy
Sure. A few different ways obviously. Last few days when I have gone to attach a photo a new tab pops up saying select file , upload file then back to the previous page and sometimes it’s attached sometimes not . It was always quite simple, straightforward previously although sometimes it still works the old way . Why have extra steps is all I’m saying.
