Beauty

You guys probably already know... I LOVE those days.!!
Lots of angel hair, spotlights under the car, mirrors on the floor,
take a wheel off to show polished brake lines, oil/water/gas cans...
That is the ART of the car Back when cars had names..

Axe keeps guessing and wrecking the internet for everyone else. LoL

So here is another one that I do know where it was taken. RR in background might give some clues. Lets see how long it takes...

Guessing? I recognized the stands. Hit up joe loius arena first. That was no good. Couldn't remember the olympia, had to look it up. Sure as heck....that was it.
As for this latest dilemma...I'm 15 minutes deep into it, and coming up blank. The pic is too blurry to get any hints from the train cars, and I've yet to see a dragstrip that close to tracks resembling the pic.
Gimme a couple hrs, I'm not quitting yet!

Not all that far from us. Detroit Dragway.

Man Axe this is cutting into my drinking time...LoL...famous Canadian racer went on to be a writer, play writer, Ferrari collector and expert currently collecting Big Block Corvettes. Unique and very nice guy. Who and where...

Lance Hill. He drag raced for many years in Southern Ontario, up to Pro Stock. The picture was taken at the 1964 Indy Nationals. Here are a couple of other pics of his racers, taken I think at St. Thomas. He was a very likeable guy who was and I guess still is successful today.

Interesting race car. Always been those who dared to be different and this is a great example. This racer would have run in a class with high revving small blocks and yet it appears he was pretty successful running an inline six.
