Thought these two pictures were interesting. Wonder if it is final inspection or QC at GM...any thoughts?

First pic shows what looks like a paint repair line on the right......body only, no frame (on skids). The no smoking signs were nowhere in the plants, except near paint and gas filling. There's a sign above the paint booth opening.
Units on the left likely got paint damage before shipping, and need to return - separate line for finished units.
Bottom pic is probably pre delivery. I'd guess theres a couple dozen cars in each line if the camera view panned out.
