Seems to be a lot of early Corvette engine swap stories these days. The particular beauty was fitted years ago with a Bill Thomas Race Cars kit to convert the small block to a big block. Thomas by the way built the Cheetah race cars, I will post a pic of them but in the Corvette/Cobra sports car wars the mostly Chevy powered Cheetah was right with them

Really nice installation because the motor sits low enough that the hood does not need to be cut out. The speculation is that it uses a low profile 3 x 2 manifold but it all fits. Beautiful car that has been raced and shown but very well preserved...
