He was even more pissed when it overheated and seized the engine.....

Wasn’t that available with the 327/365 hp ? And probably produced more than the rated power . Should get you to the church on time!

surprisingly you can get a lot but it's more than just the extra 4 ci's. Jeff Latimer reworks a 327 into a 331 with overbore and a short throw crank that will rev to 6900 and produce 486 hp. Gotta love those high revving small blocks...

Yes a few higher revs would be nice, my old 350 L98 redlines very fast in the first 3 gears, a road test called it "short winded". Then again needing to watch the tach helps keep me awake (LOL)

Sorry could not resist! . .For me it was a record holding 288 cubic inches with Carl "Curly" Rowland shifting at 9500 rpm - Yeah Percy Also!

Hey! You are making fun of that great 6.70-15 bias ply tire which has to go in conjunction with the grab bar for the passenger. Definitely great for those low G corners.
