hmmmm.... This just doesn't look like a car that feather foot even comes into the equation...Rruuff, trick is to have feather foot , NOT LEAD FOOT......lol
I may be incorrect but, it appears to be a corvette racing a chevy Vega with a time of 11.98. I'd have to say the Vega was slightly modified.
If that little vette still exists it's probably worth a bag of money, just like a real one.
Back in the day, I didn't know hardly anyone who didn't modify them to some degree. With only a few mods in the engine compartment, a 327 fit in quite nicely.I may be incorrect but, it appears to be a corvette racing a chevy Vega with a time of 11.98. I'd have to say the Vega was slightly modified.
Yes , and I believe there was a Vega GT model. I think the GT stood for "Good Try....but not quite"Back in the day, I didn't know hardly anyone who didn't modify them to some degree. With only a few mods in the engine compartment, a 327 fit in quite nicely.
Ha Ha! Ford Pinto. A lot with checkered upholstery in them. I was working as a weaver at that time and my looms put out almost the whole production of that material. There are a lot of cars we don't see. EarIy 70's when AMC were putting the optional 304 in their Gremlin, I came really close to buying a new one. Glad I didn't at the time but wish I still owned one now. A dealer in Arizona I think was dropping the 401 into the Gremlin as well. That would have been a ride. They are pretty rare. Don't see many Ford Pintos around anymore either.
Definitely agree. The GT bumped the horsepower up from mid 70 to mid 80. FAIL.... lol... Even the rare dual cam cosworth only produced 110 hp.Yes , and I believe there was a Vega GT model. I think the GT stood for "Good Try....but not quite"

How about those early C4 wheels on #22 an early C3! Ya don't see that every day, what an uplifting experience,
You can have one in any colour you like, as long as its black!
