Just a tip, and I'm nowhere near being a carpenter, but I'd suggest using hardwood for the tranny and diff gears....Holy cow, I never thought of building myself a Corvette. Being a Carpenter by trade, now I have something to do in my spare time...I'm starting with the C1 and will build through C8 in wood.,,,hmmmm where did I put those clamps...
You'll need to buy glue by the truckload, and don't build it in the basement, it'll be too big to get up the stairs and out! I see they put a wooden block in front. Maybe my eyes are funny, but, looks like downhill is at the rear?
Brakes? , not required, its designed to go not stop!Think there is a block behind the wheel as well. Spent all the money on the motor had to cut back on the brakes!
No wheelie bars and near mid engine placement....Wonder how he keeps it from heading for the stars...
