Anyone Else Fascinated By Old Locomotives?

Owner says..."Why safety is our main concern. We give the boys a plastic hat with a light on it, I might add, and a plastic pail for a nearby potty. Wouldn't want then wandering too far in case they gotta go. Given that and 50 cents a day, who wouldn't want the job?"
 
Google lens says.. the woodside is a 47 or 48 Chrysler, but it also indicates the convertible to the woodies right is "American Grafitti". So todays challenge is to outsmart the computer...any ideas what the convertible is??
 
Not sure if this will work but one of the auction sites I'm a member of here in AB has an online auction going right now with a huge selection of G-Scale trains and accessories. Here's the link if anyone is interested. I was amazed scrolling through the pictures. Obviously, an estate of someone who collected extensively. Looks like the stuff is going to sell dirt cheap too. Closes on Wednesday.
