Thank you @VikingTrad3r for my “you are not-a-C4” invite tonight. 😁👍🏻
Appreciated the Corvette-Gen chat too - especially the hoods-up “This is the C4 seminars”.
Great opportunity to meet New Friends.
Looking forward to the next opportunity.
C7 hoods sure look small 🤪

The storm had passed and some Vette enthusiasts met and many good stories and experiences were shared.

Some fresh introductions were made which is always great. I think the only “stock” car tonight was my ZR1. Taylors 90 with the classic paint was in great shape inside, factory carpet and seat leather holding up very well, and many of the emissions related paraphernalia had been removed by a prior owner which made for a cleaner engine bay and an opportunity to peer deeper into the engine of the late 80’s and early 90’s. A raw, “go cart” corvette with a driving cockpit like no other. That paint scheme.....screams racecar for me!!!! maybe corvette challenge racecar!!

Then there was Spences incredibly creative and tasteful wind buffeting piece. I can honestly say that of any “diy” logo or emblem ive ever seen, this was, by far, the most perfect and profession and “factory” looking emblem/logo ive ever seen.

Spence Im sure u have been commended elsewhere on this forum but that is really an attractive piece. Id love to have seen something like that for the c4 but i dont think the emblem would work just as perfectly as yours!! you deserve alot of recognition for that logo design. ! if you have a patch, i would add it proudly to my corvette patch collection!

Then there was seans c5, (not a member). he is mr tech wizard and he installed a fully functional hud into his 98, complete with cutting his dash in the factory position, it looks dead nutz perfect. Even the brightness mod to compensate for a 98 windshield not having the proper setup. in the background sean has done plenty of other work to his c5. it was...shall we say...rode hard and put away wet when he picked it up.

Was great to see you guys and make some new introductions. One of the best parts of the corvette comradeship is hearing the stories that lead a person or couple to fall for the vettes, and the stories of how they were acquired!

lets keep it going!

some pics to add to spences.
