Went for another short drive to visit Manny and have another look around.

Here's what I saw:
Ryan's car (back right) with two engine shots

At this point I forgot all names so you'll have to put names with cars.

Wait, I know who these cars belong to...

Finally the reason why I need new wheels...

All in all another enjoyable visit, can hardly wait until next spring

Took me back to when a friend of mine bought the first 289 fastback in the Hamilton area ( a 64 1/2 from Eastgate Ford ). That car was a blast to drive.. and yours is going to be stunning when done. Couldn't believe that supercharger had been around, untouched, all these years.

Yeah that fastback will look stunning when complete.

Thats a classic Paxton blower. I had one of those in my 88 IROC back in the day, awesome kick to it when you mash the throttle :D

Great pics Wayne. Looks like they're putting my headers on after the cam break in is over. :)

Yup , headers plus putting the springs together again . Just a little of knowledge for you all . The heads had triple springs , in order to break the cam in you have to remove the 2 sets of inner springs or else there is too much spring pressure .
Also helps to have the right tools too:

This is why we get the big bucks

Triple springs? Sounds like overkill.

Should be good to 6000 rpm with that cam and valve train.

Good catch Manny. You guys are very thorough.
