Another Corvette from Calgary on the way to Dasilva Motorsports

Now THAT does not look like your average OEM junk pulley. :D

Yup , that's a 10% over drive , billet Innovators West , 8 rib setup with a pinned and keyway lock on the crank :D

Look at this work of art on the LG SuperPro Headers :D

Full 3" all the way through :D

Well it say's FAST , so I guess its going to REALLY FAST :canada:

Getting closer :D

RPM Level 6 trans and VIG stall arrived today and were promptly installed along with the DTE trans and rear diff brace :

Ah yes the FAST 92

Looking good Ryan :canada:

NICE!

What we now need is our own club chapter out here in Alberta as there seem to be enough of their cars - a "Modded by Manny" or "Done by DaSilva" sort of thing. Sort of throw the gauntlet to the Davenport/HP Solutions customers!!!

Cheers,

Garry

Haha. That's an awesome idea Garry! I'm in for sure. :D

I can't wait until I get this beast home in the spring. :coolgleam:

Having just lived this experience myself under a year ago I know EXACTLY how you are feeling and how much fun it is, how exciting and how slowly time seems to pass while this is all taking place.

Like with DrJer, I can't recommend enough going down there to meet the people and check out the lay of the land if your car is still there in April. Plus I remember the drive Manny gave me when we went out for supper the night I arrived in the rain! Much sliding and as it was wet not as hard on the tires.

Cheers,

Garry

Thanks for posting all the pictures Manny. I enjoy looking at the transformation of the builds. Makes the winter go by quick.

Good morning Wayne,

Yes, that is a good point, also highly reommended for the experience of being in that area is "Wonderful Wayne's White C5 Taxi Service"! Sometimes you can even get pothole patrolling by "Best Buddy Brian's Bouncing C4 Business"!

Best I could for alliteration this morning - sorry!

Cheers,

Garry

Hey Garry,

I'm definitely going to be paying Manny and his crew a visit in the spring. I'm practically counting the days...... There's a pretty good chance I will try out Wayne's taxi service while I'm there.

I wish I was a lot closer. It's nice to see it coming together in pictures, but its not quite the same as being able to stop by and see it in person. I don't know how you made it through the winter, its only the beginning of December and already I'm having Corvette withdrawals. :(

I'm looking forward to meeting the Ontario crew and taking the whole experience of a "Modded by Manny" vehicle to the next level. :canada:

Good morning N20Vette,

You're in for the time of your life. It's one thing to ship the off to have the work done, another all together to meet the people who actually have done it. Lots of terrific fellowship.

While it would have been nice to be there I do agree in some cases I didn't need the distraction and it was nice to know it was getting done and it would be ready for me in the spring, well almost as the mods continued to get added to the project.

I don't find it too bad in the winter, I mean if we could be driving the cars we would but unlike say Mustang and Challenger owners we 'vette drivers are more aware that there is an appropriate time to drive them and a time when you don't want to be on the road with them and this is the time. You have to figure these cars don't have block heaters for a reason!! Plus it is the job of the Department of Transportation to scrape the snow off the roads, not mine.............!

But to be sure now as I am following the thread of your build I am filled with nothing but the memories of what I was starting to go through at this time and how lucky I considered myself to be to have the experience.

Cheers,

Garry (at -31'C)
