He doesn’t really strike me as a Punk Rocker, lol . Which he apparently was . If he were to run in the next election today’s polls show that he would be one of an estimated 7 to 9 NDP MP’s . Perhaps that is why he isn’t. And in other unsurprising news today Flip Flop Singh is back in bed with the Liberals, lol.

I don’t usually voice my opinion about political matters for the simple reason, it is a no-win situation. Some people may agree with you, it is guaranteed a lot of people will disagree with you, some very rudely.

Due to the severity and importance of the current events Canadian’s are forced to deal with, (a lot of American’s also, they just don’t realize it yet) I felt an urge to scribble a few words here.

Full disclosure, I am a conservative by nature. I personally do not like what Trudeau has done to our country over the last nine years. All the speeches I have heard Trudeau give over the years always started with “Canadians want me to do this” (paraphrasing here), then fill in the blanks, raise your taxes (luxury, capital gains, carbon), waste /give your money away etc. At the same time, he hits us with a massive current deficit, doubles our national debt, etc. etc.

Having said that I was impressed with what a Trudeau had to say today (I was around for his Father’s reign also). His speech on Trump’s tariffs was well done. It was on point, forceful and unequivocal about Canada’s response. This is the only time I have said this in 9 years “well done Justin”.

On the other hand, I was somewhat embarrassed with Poilievre’s speech. He tried to make this more a political attack on the Liberal’s and less a push back on Trump. There is a time and a place for everything Pierre, and this wasn’t the time for your diatribe on the Liberals. Unfortunately, I think PP is missing the mark on too many occasions because he is not connecting with Canadians, just check the current polls compared to a few months ago. Once again, I am a conservative, so I have a vested interest in his performance.

Aside from Smith, I think all the Premiers that spoke did a good job also. I hope that Trump, the bully, gets the message that Canadian’s aren’t the easy push overs he thought we might be.

I am very tempted to say the Trump is acting like a drunken sailor with too much power, but I am very reluctant to insult drunken sailors everywhere by placing Trump within their group. I think the world would be a safer place if Trump would just stick to running the oval office shopping channel selling bibles, coins, watches, sneakers, books etc.

I felt a little glimmer of hope when I watched CTV’s interview with the Governor of Kentucky. I hope the Democrats have him around to run for President in 4 years, because after 4 years of Trump I think it is a lock for the Dems to win the White House back, and it would be nice to have an intelligent, rational person, that likes Canadians, sitting at the Resolute desk again.

Anyway, that is my political statement for the decade. All the multitudes that disagree with me please feel free to take your shots now.

Its been said that random countries are afraid to invade the USA because behind every blade of grass there is a gun ...

Canada should take a page from that book ... I know im doing my part ...

It is highly plausible that they could invade us. This bunch of lawless thugs in Washington feel that they can do what ever they want. Really, who is going to stop or help us if they were to invade? That 80 million supporters will go along with just about anything he said. In his mind, God spare his life for a reason and that is alarming. Perhaps he is the one most likely the start or cause of WW3. And this time, it may well end our civilizations. ET will have a new home without having to
invade?

We have to move quickly and create a deterrent with military. Nuclear technology/missiles. Join EU asap. Sell our resources to whom ever wanted to buy. Can't let them hold us hostage again with tariffs.
Are we living in the twilight zone?

Oh I would be happy to share also ... as I could only handle 2 at a time ... For this type of application I would favor full automatic hand guns example Glock G18 9mm ... very effective light and easy to use... normally only available to police ... normally is the key word

My son and I were members of a local gun club for about 3 ish years where we learned the basics of gun play ... so fun
