3 More Sleeps

And Southern Ontario has been absolutely drenched with rain. More than I can remember. I still can't cut the lawn in places it's so wet.
Better than fire and smoke though. Did you have much smoke in your area last summer ? I would think you would have gotten some from the Quebec fires. That smoke made it as far as Portugal !

It's happened before with Quebec wildfires, but it's hard to say if we are smelling local smoke or illegal immigrant smoke. ;)

Yes for sure .... not sure how accurate it is ... but CP24 was reporting that the fires are slowing down a bit ... sounded like good news
Highway #1 is currently open but could close anytime. High winds are forecast so who knows. I believe it’s supposed to start clearing up around Edmonton tomorrow time will tell. I won’t be heading back up here until next weekend so things can change. They are saying that smoke may start showing up here later tonight and tomorrow from the Fort Nelson fire . Just praying it doesn’t get as bad as last summer. Really sucks after such a long winter for everyone when you don’t even want to go outside. Fingers crossed.

Hopefully it will get it out of its system now ... and the rest of the summer will be nice ... here in toronto ... May and June aren't always the greatest but at least we dont have these fires ... but we do get the smoke

Good luck ! ... and watch where you park that beast ... especially overnight ;)

We dont want any of this .....

Someone doors your car and flees. Is it a hit and run?

lol . Hard to get that concrete to light. Sorry about the smoke. Most people are inherently lazy so I will park under a light in the far corner of the parking lot. I picked up a cover from West Coast Corvette which seems pretty substantial judging by the weight. It’s in a rectangular zip up case but I haven’t taken it out because I know it’s never going back in , lol. Like trying to get a large sleeping bag back in the sleeve. I am going to take it as carry on. Thanks.

It looked like it should never even attempted lift off! How can one abort when sideways without catastrophe?
You can't. the landing gear would have folded up going sideways with all the weight back on them. As it is they will be changing out the rubber on a couple sets of wheels. He obviously figured he could pull it off but I bet his heart had a workout...
