2025 ZR1 Canadian pricing estimate

Mabe that calculator is wrong because I tried it too and it gave the same result
If he is correct regarding the taxable amount then…….far far from within my budget .

The PST in BC is a sliding scale based on the purchase price…ranging from 7% on cheapest cars to 20% on cars 150k or more!!

Holy fork ! I guess that’s why it’s called “ Bring Cash “ …. So sadly the difference from Alberta is as large as I suspected.

Thanks for clearing that up ... I really had no idea

So the PST rises incrementally with the purchase price ... more expensive the car ... the more PST you pay .... isnt that a luxury tax in itself ? ... then you have to pay a luxury tax ... then you have to pay GST :Banghead:

And the Canadian government will call you a criminal if you try to come back to Canada with an extra bottle of Vodka hidden under your front seat ... ;)

This is so sad .... if your doing a deal at a stealership and it comes out to 55,001 you get dinged with an extra 1 % ..... then the wife pipes up and says she wants to add the automatic ass tickler as another option , it now brings the price to 56,001 you get ^%*^%^ with yet an extra 1% on top of that bringing your PST to now 9 % ... then it gets really stupid from there

Un &&^%$%^ real ;)

dealership Stock Photo ...

Yes I bought my C8 in 2023 and it was a lot easier to keep the total below $125k for a SR. But I had to make a concerted effort to not get this or that if my total was going to go over….especially if it was something like carbon fiber that I could get later! But with the price increases in
2024, that went out the window…especially if you
wanted a convertible. If somebody wants and can get a ZR1….it would probably pay big time to move to Alberta for a year!
