that is BS. Top dealers in Ontario are selling for MSRP as they always have

Correct if your referring to a USED Z06, but I believe those on this forum that got a Z06 in Alberta, got their cars at MSRP.

I left the Z06 pricing off until the Canadian pricing is official as I don't want to upset everyone that's still waiting any more than they are already!

All these new cars with their stupid safety features can kiss my ass. Most people driving out there now are already idiots now with safety crap on cars it dumbs them down to be even worse. "Oh, I don't care that I'm drifting over to the other lane my lane assist will take care of it......................or who cares there's a car right where I want to be in the next lane the blind spot beep crap will let me know.................I can't parallel park but the car will do it for me blah blah blah" Stupid.

I'm not saying it's right that these price increase cover all this stuff but the soft closing frunk/trunk.....................I like that feature. I had an 08 Cooksey Z06 before my 09 car and needing to slam that hatch down to close it is BS for a car of this caliber. The 09 that came with the soft close was nice and classy befitting a car of its price and I also like it on my 19 ZR car also. Cars in the 6 digits should not need any panel slamming to shut properly (except the hood on FE cars).

My only hope is that a future government removes the asinine luxury tax by the time my order comes up. That would help to bring the price back down to where it was before. Not holding my breath though. Things are looking pretty bad in the near future economically. Our buying power is being eroded all across the board, not just in the automotive sector. Brutal.

I just realized that a 2024 Z06 HTC 1LZ costs exactly the same as a 2024 E-Ray HTC 2LZ

I don't understand how GM can justify the CDN price increase, my exact same build in 2023 was 186k now in 2024 it's 206k. Yet the same build in USD for 2023 was 155k and for 2024 it's 160k, so a 5k increase USD. 20K CDN price increase is ridiculous it should be comparable to the US price increase.
