16" C4 wheels on a '75 C3

Hello, I have been researching various Corvette sites to obtain information on running 16" C4 wheels on my C3. Most of the info advises to use wheel adapters. I have checked into the various adapters and sizes and was just wondering if anyone has already done this mod ? I am attempting to find out which size adapter would be the correct to use. The wheels I have are 9 1/2 inch 16's. Most of the forums I have read state that they use a 3 " on the rear and a 2.5 inch on the front, or 2.5 inch on all wheels.

I believe the size of the adapters you will need will also depend of the offset of the C4 wheels you use. The early C4's 84-87 had a defferent offset than the later ones.
