Ok Used a heat gun held about 2 inches from stripe and just kept moving it until the stripe was pretty warm to the touch.Used my plastic razor tool to start and it peeled off with no issues.Had to re heat some areas but all in all, easy pesy.Now the edge where the stripes stopped along its...

Yes I will be careful with the heat gun.Some videos say between 150F and 175F is the max needed in most cases and I have a temp scanner to monitor.Also some say just to use hot water to heat things up also.

So my 2016 C7 has the carbon roof package with I assume has a clear coating of some sort ,but the factory Crystal Red racing stripe is over the whole car including the carbon roof panel.Why they put stripes over the carbon and transparent roof panels is beyond me.So I want to remove the stripes...

Just bought a 2016 C7 coupe ,manual 3 LT. Z51 for 61K ,which was slightly Better then the 105K for,my spec’d C8 that if I had ordered would arrive mid 2022. I have to wonder what a manual will be worth next year?

Agree,Having to wait over a year for new vette,fake allocation statements and some who do not like the new C8 styling are looking and buying C7 vettes more now then ever including auto and manual.Even some C6 models are climbing.

So,I,read that from 2012 up the A6 auto,shift speed and crispness is much improved?Can you buy a GM A6 controller for a 2012 and install on a 2010 A6 to do the improvement or is it a software update or is there an aftermarket program to accomplish the same?
