My wife just had a severe stroke and it looks like a long, long recovery upcoming. Therefore, I think I will be putting my 2009 ZR1 up for sale in the very near future. With only 8132 original km. on her, she will be a great car for someone who enjoys power and lots of it! If any of you know of someone who is looking for one, perhaps you could have them contact me?

Navion, very troubling news. I can only hope that she has a full and speedy recovery. I wish you both the best. Not sure if there is anything we can do to help but if there is just ask.

Hold off on selling the car until you are sure that is what you want and need to do. They can be therapeutic in some ways, I know that for a fact.

Stay strong for her.

I don't have to sell her Colin. I'm just thinking down the road that with the long road ahead with my wife, it will not get driven very much and I would sooner have someone else enjoy her rather than see her sitting wasting away. I haven't made a final decision yet but will in the next week or so after another meeting with my wife's doctor. I can and will buy another one when my wife is better but need to focus on her at this time.

So sorry about your wife N. Trust though that your love and help through her recovery will speed her healing along. Your Z will not waste away but, as well, will be patiently waiting for a brighter day for both you and your wife to come soon.

Best Wishes

Eric

A fellow that I worked with had a severe stroke. Totally paralyzed down his right side. That too looked pretty grim. A year later, he was back at work. There is always hope Terry.
I don't know about you but I find it relaxing and a distraction from day to day problems when I hop in the Corvette and go for a drive. Over the next few months, you might be glad to have the distraction.
