Your favorite driving tunes

Being International Woman's Day ..... a shout out to every woman on planet earth ... WE LOVE YOU !!!!!

Excellent driving tune right here .... arguably performed better then Lenny >>>> ;)

Gorgeous voice ..............

As much as I like "Lenny" His voice was not nearly as great as his writing. KD's version is spectacular. In case you've never heard this version, have a look. I was never a fan of Justin Timberlake but have to give the guy credit for this.

The blues always gets my attention. Joe is great. Gary Moore is one of my favs as well. another great bluesman who died too soon.

Excellent. Don’t know how I’m not familiar with him. I’ll be seeing if he’s available on Prime Music for sure. Boy sho can play.
Just looked and there are 19 of his albums on Prime . I’ll be downloading a bunch of them for the road .

Actually No. I don't. The song tells a great story.
I'll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah

This fellow isn’t a bad player either  …..one of my favourites. I still play their set at the original Woodstock concert on occasion . I can amazingly still remember peeling the cellophane off of their first album.

No. Carlos is definitely a great guitar player. I was in Zihuantanejo for an international guitar festival a number of years ago and hired a driver to take my wife and I a few hours inland to a town name Paracho. It is famous for how many luthiers the town has and the quality of their guitars. The main street is lined with small two room buildings where they both hand build and sell from. Of course I was in my glory and went into as many as I had time for. I walked into one and was in the back room talking to the luthier in my broken tourista spanish and he handed me a gorgeous guitar. I perched it on my hip and played a little and he kept motioning me to sit in his chair. I said no, I'm ok like this and he opened a drawer and pulled out a picture of himself and Carlos Santana who was sitting in his chair with one of his guitars. I said... yes. I will sit in your chair. And yes. I bought one of his guitars and when I got back to Zihua, I had it signed by all the artists playing that year at the festival.

OK . Now I’m envious ,lol. Very cool experience I’m sure. I’ve been a big fan for years. Went to see him back about 1976 I believe at the Moncton Coliseum. Incredible performance with the full complement of percussion and horn sections, keyboards of course, backup vocals, the whole 9 yards. Still get goosebumps when I think about it , lol.

I knew you were classless! ;)

One has to have a Facebook account to view it, like I said. If you don't have one or don't want to here it is on Youtube.
