Your favorite driving tunes

Totally agree with Ziggy. Great start to a Sunday morning.... Especially when it's -18.... I could imagine myself being there quite easily.....

I'm pretty Canadian in my music tastes. I grew up with Doucette's kids in the 1980's. So with "Canadian" content laws, etc. Jerry Doucette produced a few albums for Canadian and mostly Vancouver based bands. The Hip, early stuff, too Art Bergman, 54/40 a few grades ahead of me in high school. Heck I even like Chilliwack.................

Oh I was doing food sales and marketing in Southern California. We had an apple juice product in Whole Foods as an example. I had an Excursion at the time. I was cranking 54/40 and their song "one gun". Crazy looking guy beside me in traffic. New Ferrari 430 spider...... Got my attention and wanted too know the band I was cranking....... It was Colin Farrell... So I gave him the CD with "cheers dude!" Didn't figure out it was him until after giving him the CD........ It was fun cranking bands like them and even the Northern Pikes, etc...... In LA most thought I was playing a new up and coming rock band..................

Oh this is 54/40 for you east of us in BC over the Rockies!

And Art Bergman for you Canadian punk band fans: LANGUAGE WARNING:

Reminds me of the time I partied with Diane Lane in Springbank,In a home with an indoor pool, during the annual August meteor shower. She had never heard the Kim Mitchell classic,”Go for a soda”,so I gave her my CD. Still have her on my MSN messenger page. Where do you think the inspiration for “Nights in Rodanthe” came from ??
