Winter storage question

Co-op is still Top Tier certified. If I have a choice that's all I burn in all my vehicles. Nice rebate at the end of the year. Usually between 4 to 6 cents a litre here.
Ya good to know. I was just going by the fact that it no longer says it on the pumps here . I have been a member for a long time and they used to give us a 9 cent rebate which has dropped to 7 . But they are also 2 cents higher than Shell lately which is odd because for years every station in town charged the exact same amount. I have no idea if all co-ops source fuel from the same supplier or not.

Found this which indicates it all Top Tier....

To muddy the alcohol, Manitoba mandate says not all gas has to have booze. Rather, the entire volume of gas sold must contain 10% but that’s aggregate. So it’s entirely possible to sell top tier without ethanol, as the mid and regular will easily use up the mandated amount.

For example, 12% put into regular would relieve the requirement and leave top tier sober.

I haven’t read the Canadian regs but I would think it’s similar.

Ours originates from the Federated Co-Op refinery in Saskatchewan but don't know if everyone's does.

I’m not sure about ours but I would guess Alberta due to shipping cost. Next time I’m there I’m going to ask and also find out about the Top Tier situation. Definitely would prefer to give the co-op my business than Shell if it is Top Tier.

Jesus, no Co-Op here. Sorry about your 3rd World problems. Maybe the fuel is better at the Walnut Grove Mercantile. Tell Nelly Jack says "hi"...
I'll do that next time I'm in Minnesota........
