WindRestrictor CCF Best Rear END Photo Contest
It is with the greatest of pleasure that I announce our first ever CCF Sponsored Contest open to all CCF members (important terms and conditions apply - see below).

Huge thanks to WindRestrictor for offering a fantastic prize of ANY WindRestrictor Corvette product and associated accessories worth up to $600 USD before taxes. Yes, if you are the WINNER you can pick ANY item on their website here: WindRestrictor, add ANY accessory to it such as illumination, etching etc. and have them ship it to you free of charge (up to $600 USD value).

WindRestrictor is an officially GM licensed brand offering wind deflectors for Covette C4, C5, C6 and C7s as well as many other brands. A lifetime warranty is included with the product which guarantees that the product will never fade, yellow, peel, or crack like others on the market.

WindRestrictor is currently having a 15% off sale right now offering Free Shipping to the US & Canada until Dec 31st - Use Coupon "Holiday". More details on this offer can be found here: Red Hot - 15% OFF + FREE Shipping to Canada! WindRestrictor® Holiday Sale

We all know free shipping to Canada happens about as often as I have lunch with the Pope so this is a great opportunity to buy. ;) If you take advantage of this sale and place your order (and you really should as this sale may not happen again any time soon), and happen to win the contest Windrestrictor will reverse all charges and reimburse you entirely for your order up to $600 USD value. So there is no reason to delay.

The Contest Rules:

Best Rear END Contest Rules are simple.

1. Upload a pic of your Corvette's Rear End as a post reply to THIS very thread no later than midnight EST on December 6, 2019.
2. Explain with a caption, meme, prop, accessory or other feature (real, staged or photoshopped) why your rear is most deserving of a WindRestrictor or why your rear is simply the BEST.
3. A panel of judges over at WindRestrictor will award the Best Rear End pic award by end of day Dec 10 2019.
4. I will update the thread with the Winning pic, winning member username and get in touch directly with the winner on the forums to get your order processed.

Today was install day after installing the brackets on a previous day 😁👍🏻
Thank you to Ashley at WindRestrictor (phone connection a bit choppy at my end to start and I hope I have her name correct)
who I phoned to confirm wiring with. Thank you to @turbozig for also chatting with me in
regard to wiring standards. Most important a thanks to @ddgermann who had the WindRestrictor
install that he did posted in the “Winter Add Ons” thread and for discussions about things like lifting the floor liner.
All of which made for an excellent self-install for me. Thank you.
I installed the panel so that the logo shows correctly (not mirrored) from the back of the Car
and this resulted in the C7 logo showing correctly through the rear view mirror.
I will be attempting better photos and share on this thread to best promote WindRestrictor in the best way I can.
I am greatly appreciative of their generosity. Thank you !

I’ll add a couple of cool install picts for those who have not seen what’s under their C7 hatch floor liner.
Hey I also found my vehicle options service parts ID plate that is normally much easier to find in other vehicles.

You deserved to win just for the originality of the design Spence.
PROUDLY Canadian.

looks great Spence. was it easy to install?
Thanks Thomas.
Installation takes patience as there
Is a wait time for 3M tape to adhere
to the surface that you have to prepare.
However it is all very straight forward.
There is a phone number to phone as well
- I did phoned WindRestrictor to just confirm
how to recognize the positive & ground wires.
I had all the tools (darn no new tool purchase required).
Took my time to do the wiring - the wiring is hidden once done.
Really Nice 😁👍🏻
I will admit the hardest part was waiting for dark
so that I could see the WindRestrictor in its lit-up glory. 😂

Spence thank you so much for posting your experience with our product. It looks amazing on your ride. Do you mind if I share these photos on our social media accounts and website?

Folks, if anyone would like to take advantage of our spring promotion it is still active as long as this code works “SPRING” it will give you 10% off of the product and also free shipping to Canada. Shipping to Canada is normally around $60

I have no issue whatsoever with your posting/sharing any information and/or photos.
I will be getting more photos as soon as we see two spring day temperatures in a row.
Good chance I will have night shots this coming weekend and I will post them here.
Better photos to come including a hatch-closed view from behind
Thank you again for your generosity.

Note to any others: just to clarify ... this unique :canada: design on a WindRestrictor is open for anyone else to also enjoy.
Of course they have many others designs that you can select from or make your own (as I did).
