Whoops I did it again!

LOL Elf, it's funny because it's true!

The seats looked really different to me of the interior shot. I'd love to know what you picked the car up for. Are you able to do the body work yourself? I'd love to learn that form of art. I have much respect for people that can do that sort of thing.

Hello XLR8R,

Those are some aftermarket seat covers. I have not even peeked under them yet. I have a feeling they are the factory cloth seats underneath.
The dash has a carpet on it. The actual plastic top has HUGE cracks from Arizona sunburn.

I paid $1,600 for the car and about $150 to have it towed to my buddies. I guess I am still comfortably under $1,800 into it so far.

I will try to do the fiberglass repairs myself at some point. Nothing to lose by trying on a rough one like this.

Wow, cool. Keep us updated on the bodywork. You just don't get to see threads on that stuff around these parts. I hope you make that bad-boy come roaring back to life.

Thanx xlr8r,
The '85 is kept almost an hour away from home, so I won't get there very often. I also have an '84 Z28 and a '77 Spitfire and '77 Firebird up there and my '68 AMX and '87 Corvette here at my house... so there are lots of cars needing attention. Progress will be slow and intermittent.
Yes... I am a sick puppy. :banghead:
