When do you put your C8 away?

Of course you don’t get cold like we get cold. I could see driving it down to maybe-15 , and I probably will , but -40 ….forget about it !
Today its minus 9 but feels like minus 17 here in Toronto. I have driven the C8 in much colder temps a few years ago with no issues.
"minus 40" Good Lord do you live at the North Pole?;)

W just had our eighth consecutive night past -40 . We had wind chill of -57c which is-70.6 f . Some spots in central Alberta were even colder. -51 in Kettle Creek the other night . Ambient. Pull out of the driveway and it takes three or four blocks before the tires gain enough heat from friction to become round again. Make you think you have four flat tires. Those kinds of temperatures are brutal on all machinery. Metal can stress fracture very easily. Of course Toronto got 20 cm of snow and called out the military. We just put on our big parka and grab a shovel, lol.

I have to say if I ever encountered temps that low there is no way I would leave my house for months. My goodness that's insane!

As the saying goes, there is no cold weather, just inadequate clothing. Some just choose to stock up the wine cellar and load up the wood stove and tuck in. Or my preferred alternative. The tropics. Although unfortunately not this winter due to the luxury tax, lol.

We just got back from Dollarama and I stopped for gas at C.T. MAN -10 is freak'n cold. I can no longer imagine -30 let alone -40
Edit: In the C8 of course
lol . You know what they call these right? Happy to hear that you are getting to use it though.

Here is a shot of Harlan Charles, one of the C7 Corvette engineers leaving his home in Michigan in winter. Put the winter tires on and drive those Vettes boys!

Interesting .... So if two vegetarians are arguing, do you still call it a 'BEEF'....

So will all the methane emitted by vegetarians be subjected to taxes as well. Just curious. Not that there is anything wrong with being a vegetarian, it can be a healthy lifestyle if you can get enough protein and amino acids. But all that gas……

Nothing against meat. End animal abuse/cruelty and I have no problem with it. Besides, I was never a meat eater in the first place. Meat was my side dish. So who wants to talk wheel hops, Rac? :p ;)
