I know what you mean. I've seen some very nice black wheel so the pewters but they always have chrome lips or some other type of accent. Pewter is such a weird color where I can't really see how anything outside of Chrome would look good.

I've posted pics of black and chrome wheels on a C5, for reasons I can't quite figure out I find chrome much more appealing

I never liked Black Bras on Corvettes. Chrome outer face & lip, with dark centers & definitely Bra-less.

Forgestar F14's I'm still not sure about the finish, probably go with silver, or gunmetal with a red pinstripe, or gloss black or...
