well, my reliability luck has run out: 2024 C8 DCT issue

Really.... the SHHHHHHHHHHH on my left ear is a PITA... They fixed the window going up and then coming down 5"(as if it was binding and safety) but the noise is still there. Also said have to take door off if a door seal is replaced.

Finally got the Frunk fixed after a month waiting for parts. I couldn't get it opened with the three different methods, not good when you have your work papers in there and just arrived at work. They replaced both frunk mechanisms and it works good now.

Had my DCT service completed at 12100 km. Downshifting was quite hard previously with a noticeable jerk. After service the “jerk” has steadily become less noticeable and l hope will continue to improve. No difficulties upshifting. During a 6500km trip this summer a smell of exhaust was noticed in our luggage (clothing) that continued for the trip. Anyone else notice this? Solution? Cheers.

Funny my wife says the same thing when she's with me! ;)

Not very attractive perhaps but what if you put your bags in a contractor sized garbage bag ? Tie the top and that should work. I personally have never noticed any smell and I have a nose….

Question: Is the car stock exhaust / cat etc.?
I'd think it should seal better than that. You might need to adjust the stops.
