well, my reliability luck has run out: 2024 C8 DCT issue

well, my reliability luck has run out. On my final corvette cruise of the season I got a check engine light, hit the on-star button and ask them to email me the list of codes.

TCM P0797
TCM P0844
ECM P0700

the car drove normal, and after 4 engine restarts, the check engine light went away.

I already had an appointment for an oil change for Nov 4th so I just parked it for 1 week.

Today, the dealership texted that the car needs a new transmission valve body, and that they should have the parts tomorrow.

does anyone know, what is involved in a valve body replacement? do they have to remove the DCT? drain the fluid?

The valve body get plugged because of dirty DCT filter that goes into bypass, what is your mileage and maintenance performed so far on DCT?

my car has 5,700km on it and is just shy of 1 year from the in-service date so there has been no DCT maintenance performed so far.

I had a "clank" when it shifted 2 - 3 and 3 - 4 and sometime s 5 - 6. It have 11k and brought it in for oil and DCT service. They referred to 23-NA-188 "2810175 Transmission control module reprogramming with SPS 0.5..... and it still does it.

Maybe take it back to the dealer and request repair?

I will for sure. They are waiting back for a ruling on a drivers door seal investigation(seal replacement hopefully.

Hopefully it will sort it self out but I just started noticing it when I was driving with the top up. And yes.... I have 7.8 years left of warranty!
