Wanted: Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06 2006-2008

That thing is gorgeous!! Congrats again! Any chance you can post a couple pics of that rear spoiler from a couple angles? Maybe from the front how it looks mated to the rear deck contours etc. Its the same one I have ordered for mine. Looks good from the rear from what I can tell. Enjoy the new ride!

I'll take a look and see what I have on my phone. If there is nothing there I can shoot some for you in a couple of days. The mating is good. I mentioned to my hot rod friends that it didn't have a stock rear spoiler. Everyone of them said they really like it. Better than the stock look in their eyes. There is one spot on mine near the middle of the leading edge that is not quite perfect. Looks like I need just a bit of double sided tape added. It easily conforms to the hatch line in that area with very little force. my guess is the tape in just a bit far back of the edge in that section. The shape itself is perfect when I put just a bit of pressure in that area. I would say they have produced a good quality/well shaped spoiler. Fear not.

It's a factory GM spoiler so at least I wasn't worried about fit and finish. Never seen one up close yet. For a third of the price of the usual ZR1 spoiler I think it looks amazing. And its ordered painted to match which is a huge bonus. Look forward to your pics and thanks! You are going to have a blast in that thing.

Muscle, that is a beauty. Congratulations and Eric thanks for the link.

Hopefully we can hook up with you on one of the cruises down your way or up here.

Lol...that's crazy how our experiences were darn near identical! Older gentleman with 3 of these selling a couple at least to buy a new c7. Low mileage, impeccably maintained and pampered car that still had factory rear rubber. It was 6 years old...almost 7...and all my checks came back with nothing. The price was where I needed it, so apparently, the stars have aligned. Thank you kijiji! I used all avenues as well to search. Like Jord, it took me over 2 years of serious looking in 4 provinces to find what I wanted at the price I wanted. Good luck and can't wait to see pics of the new ride!

The Pm system here doesn't allow for attachments so here they are. Now everybody can see them lol.

Eric, I have found that those heavy duty wire brushes that those pesky decals off with ease. LOL

I am willing to bet we never see a picture with that on the back again. Hopefully MM it will come off with little fuss.

I should be pretty good with it. I have a marine background, we remove more decals and stripping from boats than the world has ever seen lol. That being said some can be a real pain!

For sure. I actually head up north a lot. Best place to enjoy one's car on roads with no traffic. Better scenery too.

Looking forward to seeing what you find! Any reason for the 06-08 years? I know 06-07 were the lightest Z06's but in 08 they did some beefing up to the drive train.

Mainly do to selling price. The 06-08's were more in the dollar range I was looking at.Weight is a nice bonus but I believe they added insulation in 07 ( 08?) to quite road noise down. Which can have some bonuses. I'm not too concerned with noise. I'll take the weight savings : )

Wow, is this it Movie! You have done very well. Good job! Sad I am so far away that I can't see it in person!

I was VERY seriously considering your car...I still sort of wonder if I would have preferred it or not lol. It was a close toss up. If this car was a no I was going to fly out to see yours in the spring.

Lookin good.... I'm betting that Drouin dealership decal lower right on the rear panel will be gone soon too....

Gone :) Gave the car a wash before it went into the new cover on Tuesday and removed the vile decal. It was put on in late November or so. No summer heat to bake it on. Came off easily without much fuss
