VellocityYellowRules! coming to visit

It was great to meet you guys and have a chat about cars. Now I can put faces to names. Hope the weather brightens up so Gary can truly experience his car before he has to leave. I am hoping to get out on a cruise with some of you soon too. I was out in Dundas on Saturday and saw a nice red C4 and waved. The driver waved back. It was a Zen moment for me. I feel I belong now!

Hope you can make it out too Antony -- Have you seen Webster's and Tew's Falls in Dundas yet? Beauty spots and somewhere to cruise to that's not too far with usually ample parking. The wife and kids would love it there too.

I've found most 'vette owners wave and acknowledge other's cars. From what I've experienced in the last 2 years 'vette owners are a great bunch of guys and gals.

Thanks for sharing Colin..........the pics are great and it looks like everyone is enjoying this special event.......I'm sure Garry will be wearing that smile his entire visit.

You're most welcome -- it's my pleasure to share with all our vette buddies -- indeed I wish we could all be at these events.

Yes Garry is a very happy lad right now, tho quite tired from the day's events.

He'll sleep well tonight.:D

That was a fun night. Something I had been looking forward to for quite some time. It was really fun meeting Garry; and seeing his face light up when reunited with his car. I just know he is going to love the "Manny Touches".
Thanks for posting all the pictures Collin. I like to kid you about that damn camera of yours, but at a event like this it is a most welcome addition.
Garry..........very nice to meet you, as well as some of the others I had not met, and of course always nice to see old friends also.......... wish some of you other CCF guys could have been there, but at least we have the forum.

So happy to see Garry reunited with his car. Wish I could have been there but work schedule got in the way. I had hoped to come down there today but Mother Nature has dampened that. Thanks for posting all the pics Colin. Say Hi to Garry for me.

What a memorable evening.

The mirror image of it is either in the shop or I'll becoming the world's first four cylinder twin turbo LS1 powered Corvette.

It was great meeting Garry. There was the first awkward moment when I asked for gas money but after a few minutes it was as though I had known him for years. A very classy guy. Also classy was the big turnout for him, you guys and girls are incredible. All in all a wonderful evening.

Again thanks to Brian for giving me something to follow on my way home.

Nice pictures Wayne.......and Garry, this is the first I heard of gas money, wish you had said something, I could have underbid Wayne.

Absolutely awesome! This thread is fantastic showing the class of people we have on this forum!!!! I can't wait to hear from Garry on his impressions of his baby and how much he is enjoying being out there!

........So that dough I gave you to say all those nice things was enough then Wayne? ... I know you wanted more but I've got a boo-boo to look after on the car and I'm all but busted.:(

I'm beginning to think that when it comes to money and horsepower... it's never enough :)

Truth be told I am sorry about your accident, it's never fun and there is always something (or someone) else that you would rather spend the money on.

Colin, thanks for posting the pictures for all of us that weren't able to attend. Looks like every one had a great time. Gary, I hope you're enjoying your upgraded ride and able to get some time behind the wheel before you go back home.

They are lovely spots for pics, walks, picnics, even swimming below the falls.
They really are a treasure and not very far at all.

Margaret and I go down there quite often -- I wouldn't mind a cruise down there some time with everyone for a walk around and some pictures.......

GREAT PICTURES! Wish I could have been there with you guys. I feel like I missed out on a fantastic event. Thanks for posting the pictures Colin.

Garry! So glad you finally made it to your car! How was the drive!!!!? Any first impressions?

Why don't you cruise to Ponoka this Sunday to get the 'Vette primed for summer--see the 780-403 thread going crazy lately. Looks to be a good event. Maybe a tax write-off for you too!:D

Met Garry by chance at Manny's today and had a quick visit and photo session (no surprise) -- more pics of Garry and his beauty ride.
Nice to meet up Garry -- hope your day went well -- Justin and I will meet you in the 4 Points parking lot about 9:45'ish and go from there.

Here's a few pics of Garry and his potent Velocity Yellow ride and Garry's great smile:

Garry sitting in his baby:

Garry with an even happier face sitting in his baby (I brightened up the dull day by applying flash)

for the camera .... very photogenic is Garry.

I should have used flash again but it shows the richness of Velocity Yellow very well.

Wow! That yellow really 'pops' in the pictures! I love the matching shirt Garry! The door sill plates looks GREAT too! Colin, if you have the camera kicking around and it's no trouble, could you snap a photo of the seat covers?

I'm super happy for you Garry! It's been a long wait and is so nice to see you with your beauty ride!
