Me: (while driving on spirited first drive through mountain pass, two days after delivery) Car feels weird, almost like I'm about to die... lemmie check tire pressure in track mode. Oh look, back left tire 360kpa, WTF!?

OnStar: Everything is PERFECT

Dealership: Pre delivery inspection PERFECT

Me: I'll just pull over on this cliff and let out some air on that tire before my family starts picking out a tombstone for me...

I got an alert about my air pressure last night....strange that we are all getting them...Weather change?
I'm finding that the OnStar tire pressure alerts are unreliable. OnStar told me I had a rear tire pressure problem and all 4 were at 30 or 31 lbs, so none were out. My C8 is my daily driver so it's not like it's sitting around losing air. But to be fair to OnStar and as Murray said in this thread, it could be the tire air sensors that are sending inaccurate info to OnStar. Either way, don't panic if you get an OnStar alert for tire pressure...take it with a grain of salt but check it out nonetheless.
