Hi, while taking apart the interior, I found some connectors, that I don,t know where they belong.
Two are behind the cluster and two are on each side behind the rear coupe roof panel.
Thanks,
Norbert

Yeah, thanks.I figured that out.But on the other side is only a small hoe. That can,t be right. What is missing there?

There should be a little triangular prism with a small angled hole on the other side. When your interior lights are on it deflects the light onto you radio/climate controls. Underneath the triangular prism there is also a metal reflector and clear blue peice of plastic. Here, I’ll attach a picture of mine. I think the center guage console is pretty much the same between our years.

Unfortunately, I looked under my dash and through all my photos, and it looks like the interior wiring harness is different between our years so I’m no help to you. Hopefully someone else knows.

You folks who are doing these restoration have my admiration. Trying to figure it all out is a puzzle for sure. I wish you all the best in getting these cars back up and running with all the little details figured out.

Hi, found on the engine that number: V0502 CLY. Is that possible? Thanks,
Norbert
I have a 1980 L82 Corvette with a suffix code CLY and haven’t been able to find any info on it for years. I was just now checking again and saw your comment. It clearly must be associated with Corvettes being that this is the common denominator in everyone’s quest for an answer to this mystery.
