Who Manny, you work fast ! What are the two wires going into the top of the block for ??

Myself and Rob have built 1 or 2 of these before

The two wire's on the valley cover are the knock sensor's.

Thx

Well its 8 am here on Sunday, Rob has arrived with the Timms , so lets get this build moving

White is a rare colour. Don't see many white C5's or really white C anything on the roads.

This is my first white C5 vert, Sami has the white C5 Z06, and I've seen 1 white C6 vert.

Nice colour. Lots of work ahead of you. Gonna be sweeeeeeet.

Yet another late finish, but we got it all done !

Video is kind of crappy , but you get the idea .

Ok off to the dyno, see you later this afternoon with the report.

Maybe a bit higher I have almost the same setup as he does but he used
the 215 TF heads (I used As Cast) and he has the 102mm with 90mm TB
where I did not and made 435rwhp, but every car is different.
I think the 102/90 might give him another 15-20hp over my setup, not sure?
Either way he is going to make it faster back to you then he did coming here!

The West comes East..........Riley?

Eventually. It IS on the list but maybe not this year. I would love to come out some time. I'll have to have a chat with Tony when he gets back. That will be awesome....now if we can just get it to stop raining on Thursdays!

Can't wait to hear your car in person Tony!

Guys keep in mind that this is a 98 and an auto . We are also using a mildish cam. We were at 422 RWHP last night before we wrapped up for the night . The 97-98 cars are a pain to tune and we are at it again this morning , and should have the car back in Tony's hands later today .

Thx
Manny@E.C.P

422 RWHP is pretty awesome. Strictly out of curiosity and because I know nothing of tuning, what makes the 97-98's a pain in the butt to tune? I still can't wait to see the car!

Ok makes sense thought it was a stick car
Nice numbers anyways, Tony should be very happy!

Well I can say from experience that something in the 425 RWHP range is pretty impressive to drive way to go Manny! Let's think of it as an auto car that can catch the sleeping C6 wayyyy off guard!!

Not knowing that this was an auto car, those are pretty impressive for that early an LS-1 with a stock bottom end. Prob another bit of power available due to the cam but I think with those numbers, the right choice was made for sure! Either way, a few sleepy C5 Z06's, C6's and anything with a hemi or a horse in the grill will be bitterly surprised. All that and now the motor is even MORE reliable and stronger than before!

How many km's does the bottom end have on the clock?
