Oh my, if you can, keep a positive thought in your heart for these folks. Just incredible what is happening there.

They have been in my prayers all along, I have lots of friends in the area. This could be the worse flooding Houston has ever seen. Some areas just West of the city may get up to 50 inches (1.27m) of rain before it is all over. The homeless and the poor are in desperate need during times like this, hopefully someone is looking out for them too.

Yup I've got a few friends there too. Have not heard from them and hope they are ok. It's difficult to imagine this kind of event unless you have lived through it. The key words being live through.
People of Houston and area are in my thoughts.

I wish I'd kept the pics I had of Calgarys 2013 flood. Having seen what water can do firsthand,yup. I feel for the people of Texas.

Hate to even think of that Brian. From the pictures I have seen the floods have spared no neighbourhood. The pain is equally shared and it seems to be getting worse.

Terrible to see any large scale natural disaster. It highlights just how precious our lives are, and what really are the important things in life. Vehicles can be easily repaired or replaced, peoples lives cannot. Our thoughts and best wishes are with all affected.

I'm really worried about my little sister, who lives in Southern Texas. They are ok, but she has in laws who have been displaced and lost basically everything......Horrible to see this kind of devastation!

I'm old ,very old and I don't remember neighbors helping Neighbors like these folks have been doing.They will all need help for a long time ,I'm rooting and praying for them .
