Snow

Looks like 15 cm in our forecast for Thursday night and Friday morning. Hopefully it changes to just rain. Good news is Monday and Tuesday are supposed to be pretty nice here.

Just checked the forecast here; 10 to 15 cm for Thursday into Friday. It will be the middle of April by then. I know where they keep the groundhog.

Just saw the update for ours down here and altho it's not that bad -- it's bad enough. fuddle-duddle.....!!!!!!!!!:swear:

Steamer! I'm on my way! f this shite. I'll be there by Thursday.:D

Yes spring is taking it time this year....but for us here in the banana belt at least, it's not too bad. Yes some wet snow is forecasted Thru, & Fri...but then it looks very nice.
Today was a great day. Spent about 5 hours stripping the old polish and cleaning her up... even got the first coat of sealer on......... another couple of days and it will be looking real shiny again... :-)
Hang in there everyone..... spring can't be too far off, our golf club is opening this weekend

CCO, Come on ahead. We're having some great cruising weather and I've been out on the road plenty. Heck even a couple of Hummingbirds showed up today!!!! Going to pick up my Rejex tomorrow!

It does get to be too much, now doesn't it. What a great Canadian tradition! We gripe about the weather, our southern cousins about not being able to shoot things at will!

Same-same here. Should be highs of +9 and we're looking at +2's and +3's. 50 km wind tomorrow which makes sense as that is when my canola seed is due to arrive and to be unloaded. Dad's driveway is not passable to a semi from the storm that I posted the video's from a couple of days ago, so I sure hope the grader gets to his road today.

But I was suprised when I was exercising on the dike yesterday, on the south facing of a wall by an apartment - dandelions had emerged! How they stay warm I don't know but as crops would get blasted by this weather, mother nature endows weeds with the ability to actually withstand a bit of frost and to survive!

I draped my new seat covers on my gliding rocker and sat in them, boy I sure can't wait to see them in the car! Off to check about embrodery this morning as well............

And you can't shoot the groundhog anymore, he's been trapped and his hide is currently being stretched for my new slippers..........somebody owes me some warmth.

Cheers,

Garry

No way, dandelions!? That is crazy! I think we are going to start hitting the positives today. Slowly but surely we are going to crawl out of this freezer.

We are supposed to hit 14 degrees today. I have one patch of snow left in the backyard, should be gone by the end of the day.
The rest of the week looks pretty rainy. Hopefully is cleans the streets up.
Com-on spring WTF are you? By this time last year I had half a dozen rounds of golf in.:canada:

Well, in the west, I found out why Spring hasn't arrived, turns out to be a glitch in the software as I got this error today.

You're definitely a "glass half full" guy Brian ....:) That's a good thing , but hey slow down a bit ,.... the weather needs to be warmer before doing a full detailing job ! .. Or at least that's the excuse I'm using .

Drive now, polish later ! :D

Didn't get the snow/freezing rain/sleet/ overnight and into this morning -- just rain, thankfully -- Hope you guys in cottage country avoided the nasty stuff too.
Forecast for today and tonight is looking bad too -- with major storm warnings accompanied by ice pellets and freezing rain.
Sunday looking nicer with some sun, but next week, well into the week, is looking crappy but warmer........ & :( &.

forecast here is freezing rain from late this afternoon till friday afternoon. evidently nothing to speak of snow-wise. if it doesn't warm up soon i may have to cut and split more firewood.

it's snowing in Toronto right now! I woke up thinking I traveled back in time to 2 months ago! :swear:

Freezing rain just started here, as forecast, and it's headed your way Pyro -- Watch out and if you have to be on the road be safe.....

Snow this morning, visability down to 1/4 mile, winds 40 to 60 km at GP auction yard, guess I'll be watching it on line!

Not much better the next few days. Normal high +10, next 4 to 5 days +2 to +4 range.........late springs, just gotta hate'em! Buggers up seeding and car driving/transportation!

Cheers,

Garry
