Sneak Peek ..........Nasty98's New Interior

Looks great Manny, you should add a rear camera BOYO VTL422HD.
If I get a new head unit for Christmas will be looking to add one, has the built
in grid and you can also tuck it above the plate and swivel it at different angles.
I found a photo of someone who already mounted one above the license plate
looks good almost a stealth install.

HA! I look forward to the faint cry of Scorpions Rock you like a Hurricane coming from the east in the Spring!

This is the BOYO VTL402HD HD Rear View Camera I have for my build.

I went for the chrome version rather than black, because I think that it will blend in better with Silver and its shinny like my head

I keep wondering what's left to modify? I can't wait to see the pictures of the completed interior!

Your interior is looking great, make sure you post some Before/After pic's if you have them. Some of your interior reminds me of a Callaway at the Whistler Show/Shine last year , car was from Oregon. He re-did his whole interior, said it was done in Germany, took 3 months and I believe he said it cost him aprox $45,000.00. It's a beautiful piece of work, it didn't win First, but I certainly voted for it. Here's a Pic of it--see attachment, can't wait to see yours. Good Job

I will for sure post up a before and after I have lots of pictures of the factory interior.

I know the pricing from two of the best interior builders in North America, and I have to say that from the picture and what I know, I think that guy is full S**t at $45K for the interior.Even if it was built in Germany . Its a beautiful interior no doubt but was not a $45K.
A complete interior with seats from either Apsis or Carravaggio is between $20K - maybe $25K and thats going all out using top grain Bentley leathers, and a lot of real carbon fiber.

I would rather have a 20-25K drive train from Manny than a 20-25K interior, BUT that's just me....and has nothing to do with this discussion. I just like being a jerk sometimes.:D

That interior is quite nice though, even if the guy inflated the price he paid for it. I'm looking forward to seeing the Manny interior.

A few more pictures now that the dash is complete :D

A few words from Jersey@Apsis on the craftmanship that goes into making a dash like mine and what makes his process so much better than all the rest!

For those customers who are still not familiar with our Main Dash yet, we would like to emphasize it again here what's the difference between our Main Dash vs all other venders' main dash. All other venders just wrap the leather direct to the stock main dash. But this approach won't solve the common severe delamination problem that many C5 owners have. The reason of such delamination is because GM add some special additives when they formulate their formula for the parts and such additives kills the addition of the glue so it leads to severe delamination issue. If you just wrap the leather direct to the stock main dash then the concave area will get delamination soon.

The difference of our Main Dash is we have removed all the factory vinyl material and then re-inject the new formed material and sand it/buff it to exactly same thickness as the stock part. The stock vinyl layer has different thickness from one area to the other so it takes at least two weeks to just rebuild the new foundation. Finally we wrap the leather to the main dash and this will guarantee that it will never delaminate. This is the perfect example of Apsis' commitment to make the best quality products for C5/C6 community.

Hey Riley , anytime your ready for those performance mods :D

Great lookin' interior mods, Manny. Can't wait to see it finished this spring.

I'm trying to get Riley to come east -- one of these days we'll get him here.

C.

You don't have a HUD in your car? I just noticed the window was missing on the dash but if your car did have it, maybe it would take away from the really nice lines there. That main dash looks very nice!

Some day I'll be out for mods.....some day...
