Simcoe Festival Car Show

Another one we're very familiar with -- nice shine Brian -- never saw it lookin' that good.:

I didn't get to meet Izzy yet but I got his beautiful '95 Polo Green coupe -- my '94 vert is this colour:

Brian-- do you know if the tips on Izzy's exhaust are OEM or aftermarket?

Got more if anyone wants to see -- don't want to post too many this time since there will be others who have some good shots.

Nice rides Zeeman -- Apparently you left just b4 Terry and I arrived. We were a little late (1pm)...... catch up with ya next time.

Had a little bet with Brian that Dave (SMRSLD) from Wasaga was a cop or a fireman --- I was sure he was a cop and Brian was sure he was a Firefighter.....
I had forgotten that he was a FF but knew for sure he was an OPP......Brian knew tho that we were both right......:D

No wonder he wanted to "bet C4's" -- lol, he knew neither one of us could lose.

Good times-- wish we could have stayed longer -- perfect weather, nice ride down on 24, glad to be a part of it and very pleased to see that it was a huge success.

Colin.

Good pictures Collin, and Stan. Glad you guys were able to make it out and enjoyed the day. It sure was a busy one for me and the rest of our group. Final tally of cars was 238 reregistered, But I bet a few were there that didn't bother. The 50/50 draw was the best we ever did ending up with a split of $1100 and a bit both ways. Great weather and a lot of really nice rides.

Collin, in answer to your question, I think the exhaust tips on Izzy's car are after market.
Also Collin, there were three 63 split windows in attendance. The one you pictured is one of our club guys cars. He also has a very nice 69 and a 57 which he has own now three time. The car just keeps coming back to him..... LOL.

Great looking show Brian. We'll have to get down to it next year. Thanks for posting the pics guys.

Looks like there were a lot of nice cars at the show and it was nice weather too.
Keep showing me '69 Chevelles and I might do something foolish. Sadly, GM didn't build any two door post COPO cars and the guy really needs to get rid of that '68 steering wheel. Otherwise, a sharp looking car. I know of three Malibus for sale, all light green and two are very nice original cars with low miles. It's tempting. Wife thinks......:nono:

We enjoyed the day very much Brian -- thanks for the invite -- it meant a lot. Indeed we look forward of course to next year and to other meets this year ....... hoping to be able to stay longer next time. Glad to be a part of festivities. You guys put a lot into it -- you should all be proud. I can imagine a lot of work involved organizing the event and executing plans.

Thanks for the info on Izzy's tips ..... I'm gradually getting more familiar with the C4's -- thanks for your help...

Wow, 3 '63 S/B's -- wish I had time to find them and get their pictures.
Next time, next meet I hope.

Cheers,
Colin & Terry.
