My 2021 won't be due for service until early spring. I bought it from dealer down in Burlington (leggat) but live in Horseshoe Valley-anybody have any good experiences(or bad!) with Wilson or Sadlon or should I make long drive back to Burlington( they gave a two free oil change card) or take it to......? Wide open to suggestions! So far winter driving with Aplin 4A snows has been good-certainly as good as any other 2 wheel car I have winter driven. Just have to be careful on throttle otherwise clings to road well and stops as expected

I had my service done at Wilson Niblett. It left something to be desired. There was a recall and I had made the appointment 2 months in advance, yet they didn’t order the necessary parts and said I needed to come back (from Thunder Bay!) once the parts were in. The car comes with 2 free oil changes from GM regardless of dealer. However, WN charged $75 for an inspection or some other made up thing and it’s not negotiable- purely a money grab- since the oil change was free. Check to see if Sadlon does the same. I won’t go back but I’m sure others who live nearby don’t have the same complaints of driving 1500kms and not having all the necessary work done.

@Thom had his done in Barrie I believe. He'll chime in on it, I'm sure.

I live about 20 minutes outside of Midland. Mine was done at Tom Smith Chev in Midland. No charge. Not one cent. Also had trans valve body & filter replaced under warranty. They were EXCELLENT to deal with. They needed to take the car for a short test drive after the trans work and called and asked if it was OK to do that since it was raining that day. I checked my PDR after the test drive and the drive was very respectfully done. If you decide to come to Midland for your work, PM me and I'll tell you which service advisor to deal with. And I'll come pick you up and take you for a coffee while it is being done.

if I remember correctly from a thread that has since been deleted, Wilson Niblett sells corvettes for MSRP but adds non negotiable services on top of a dealer fee (something like rim/tire protection)

sounds like 2 strikes for that dealer

how about Jim Wilson in Orillia? any feedback?

I would still stay with Wilson Niblett . We’ve all had our problems with dealer stuff . But at the end of the day , the job gets done by the people who know . what I would say the most experience on sure volume. especially on callaway performance . intelligent , well there’s always someone smarter. And the extra. Costs we’ll lubing the pad sliders and whatever else . My REWARD for being a straightforward dealership.. Just my 2 cents i own enough Chevy pice‘s

Not entirely correct. All dealers try and charge an admin fee. W/N provides a tire/ key protection within their admin fee. Talk to them. They’re good people. They helped me out with my purchase. Example, an item that I wanted on my build was on constraint. They had the item and installed it for the same price as if I order from Chevy. They didn’t have to do that. BTW…I’m not a GM fan or a fan of dealerships in general, but I do like being treated fairly and W/N did that.

Yes all dealers charge admin fees (my dealer charged me $249), but to add a nonnegotiable rim/tire and key protection into it at the cost of something like 1200$ is shady.

I bought mine and had service and after market accessories installed at Georgian in Barrie, Just make sure you tell them you want it done by Lawerence he's there corvette specialist. He did my borla exhaust and many ACS parts etc with no issues.

Hi, You might be interested in Mike Wilson Chev/Cadillac in Collingwood as believe their service manager use to be involved with a/the Corvette racing team. He really seems to know his stuff! No $75 fee when you need the free oil service.

Same boat, Same area. New to Horsehose Valley and looking for a reputable spot I can trust to do an oil change on my C7 in Barrie, Orilla, Midland or Vaughan (I will take it to work 😁). Still sleeping from the winter, need the street sweepers and some more rain, the amount of sand in the roads is ridiculous still but want plan ahead.
