Random Pictures You Took

As some of you may know, we shipped our C6/08, to our Florida home on Oct 9thl. We have been to Key West and using it every day here in the Englewood Fl area. Here is picture looking out over a bay on Gasparilla Island, just over the bridge to Boca Grande, it is always a beautiful sight, with the Gulf of Mexico in the distance. We are new owners and age was not a factor, bought it to drive it. The drive home through the mountains via Pittsburgh and Buffalo will surely be a great trip. Now we are thinking, two vettes may be needed, one in Unionville and one here. Ha, that would upset some of our friends, who are wondering why? They just don't get it.

Sorry it’s Blurry …. On the day Edmonton was getting hammerred with snow … Harrowing return last Tuesday from the East Coast meeting up with 100kph head-winds and cross-winds on the final 900km leg in Saskatchewan toward Calgary. Swift Current was brutal as I towed a near empty 21ft car-hauler “sail”. Wow. Gas got sucked up big time on this 12hr leg in my 6.2l Gasoline Sierra 1500. Same mileage as a 1999 H1 Hummer when not towing. Nothing like needing to fill the tank every 200km. Celebrating 30k on the truck with really bad economy Managed to make the Fredericton trip back with five-900km legs (five Daytona 500 + 60 segments) … Gr8 to see the country on the road. I am ready for any Corvette Cruise now.

Video posted in “random video” thread - the part with no snow and no fog tumble-weed kill

Ok I did not take this picture but wonder if it will bring any thoughts from forum members.

Roadents of Edmonton Car Cab with their Ford Flathead D/Dgraster. Anyone recall the club, pic looks like maybe late 50's?

Hey Black. This scene is a bit before my time ... As a kid my older brothers (and future BiLs) took me to Speedway Park to watch CAN AM races. I believe that was in the 60s?

Glad to hear you made it back safe & sound SN.
Hope your rear end didn't suffer too much. LOL
Its a big country.

Yup. That too. My smaller female shepherd loves wasabi peas...lol... Go figure. Soon as I rattle the can she comes running. I make her go to her bed and lay down and then roll them one at a time across the living room floor and she snarfes them as they go buy her bed... Funny to watch..
