Random Pictures You Took

YYSSW protected from the falling rain BUT probably near the end of the “no loss” protection endorsement on insurance … otherwise … WHY?

Tuesday past I had the opportunity to take part in a small private showing of Merv Pidherneys who built a large civil construction, oil field construction and concete company here in Alberta from one single axle gravel truck some 40 odd years ago. Merv has been collecting cars for a long time and every few years he needs to keep expanding his collection shop. Merv had told me of his collection many years ago where I met him at a social function and I thought my chance to actually get an invitation was gone when I retired from the engineering firm that was responsible for our meeting.
I took a number of pictures and will show some of them here. He has 36 cars at the moment, most very rare limited production models, most with very very few miles on them. All of them in either immaculate original condition or ground up stored to original. He drives some of them but only very occasionally, mostly to fund raising charity events or in local parades. He recited the history of each car, where he purchased it, the mileage, and in many cases the number of them that were made. His shop is also decorated with many antiques. Mostly oil and gas but some other items which made me drool. Especially a guitar signed by Johnny Cash and another signed by Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Fats Domino and Jerry Lee Lewis. Here's a look. Excuse my poor photography ability.
