After many years of watching the Quickjack evolve from the first one on the market, I decided to pull the trigger and purchase the BL-7000SLX from Costco. I wanted one that would be able to lift all my vehicles, including my truck. Well, I am glad I went for the 7000 lb model, this thing is a beast for a tiny lift. They are currently selling there for $1450+tax. The main parallelogram hydraulic parts are just over 100lbs each and move around with the help of 2 tiny wheels on the one end. The hydraulic porta pump is quite light and easy to move. Once all the initial setup, fluid filling and bleeding is completed, simply move them under your vehicle, hook up the quick connect lines to the pump, position your rubber lift blocks below your jacking pucks, single or double stacked, line them up with your lift points on your vehicle, hit the magic up button the the remote and be amazed to see your ride rise up without any effort. Well, a bit of effort is required to move them and set up, but what a difference from using a floor jack and jackstands. There are two lock positions to choose from. A low one for doing tire swaps, brakes, etc. Then a high position, about 20-22" clearance for doing work underneath, oil changes, exhaust, etc. Not a cheap investment, but a very clever and safe alternative to a full size hoist. I just ordered a set of pinch weld blocks from the manufacturer for using it on our unibody suv's. Once up in the air and locked, you vehicle can stay up and the lines can be disconnected and moved out of the way if required, and not a single drop of oil is lost. Not very often is there a product that is as good as it looks, but this one gets a full 5 stars from me. It is designed in the USA and made from high quality Chineseium. I was questioning the build quality before purchasing, but not any longer, this product is well made. If you are tired of using floor jacks and jackstands, treat yourself and buy one of these, you only live once! :Woohoo:

Hey Zig..
What is the horizontal movement as it rises to the top level.?
Graham

It moves about 12" backwards while it turns from a flat mechanism into a tall parallelogram, so your vehicle must be far enough away from anything behind it because it will move about a foot closer once up into full position. I had to move the car about 6" forward due to it not clearing my overhead door on my first try. :Banghead:

Love the idea of having a set. I'm concerned not having a heated Garage (freezing) and for storage (other than under the car).

Corvette could then go "weeeeeeee" .... :WillyNilly:
and thanks also the Corvette Porn Photos with the rigging

I'm sure they fit under the bed or the sofa. :bsmile:

This is the one I am looking at to. Do you think it will clear using jacking puck? I have side skirt on mine and I am always afraid to jack without the pucks to stay away from the carbon fiber
Yes I have the jack pucks and side skirts too. It just clears the skirts. You will need to use caution positioning the jack pads.

Have one also for a year and a half now. Love it. Raise it all the way up and put a wooden box with the oil pan to catch the oil as it comes out , then just change position to undo the oil filter. And you can actually stretch your arms when working underneath. Was great when I had to re and re the ABS module. On the C5 I could only use one hockey puck under each jacking point as opposed to the two that I used when using the low profile jack.

Bought my first Corvette in August. Its a 2017 Grand Sport and couldn't be happier. I found your post before even registering for the form and order the same lift just a few minutes ago. I plan on changing my brake pads to the Hawk ceramic pads and they're suppose to cut down on brake dust by 90% plus

Congrats on the car and the Quickjack, you will love it. I use mine alot on several vehicles, and it sure beats using floor jacks for most jobs. The clearance while working underneath is also a very nice change from using jackstands.

Do you do your own Oil Changes on your Corvette and have you changed your pads to the Hawk pad
