I am having a problem with tail light and brake light not working. I changed the bulbs but still nothing. Hezzy suggested it might be a ground problem. I am still looking into that. Someone suggested that the lights might be out because I may have a front bulb not working. I have not checked yet but I thought I would ask if that makes sense to anyone ? As an added point, on the dash when I put the signal on in that direction I just get a solid arrow that does not flash.

if your tail light isn't working the signal indicator will not flash. do a thorough check for good grounding. if all looks good get out the test light and start checking for where you have power and where you don't.
Don't trust a fuse just because it looks good. Check it or replace it just to be sure. Do the simple tests first.

a peak reading volt meter is invaluable as well - the fluke units are very good.
