what is the logic for not honouring the agreed upon price for a short term gain due to "high demand"? Its a bad business practice that skews customer relations. an extra sale is an extra sale. Sure someone else will step in, but its still a sale lost. One year down the line the stingray model will become run of the mill and the dealers will be offering discounts that will amount to the current price increase if not more and push for sales. Its a mass produced car, only short sighted dealer will play the "high demand" card. I for one will boycott and blacklist these dealers. from a local perspective a couple dozen or so is not high demand, maseratis gets more customers here, the corvette brand does not resonate around here and i suspect the dealer experience may have something to due as well.
