PPF and Ceramic coating by dealership

Had mine done at Bill Spencer as well. Very happy with the results. Not sure if it cost a bit more than elsewhere but I wanted the PPF on the car before driving home (1500 kms). I didn’t get the ceramic coat.
Just had my red mist ceramic coated by my usual car guy. 3 stage paint correction which it needed. Looked good but close up lots of swirl marks and left over glue from white plastic. After polish 2coats of ceramic and now looks like a mirror with great shine and gloss and absolutely no marks. His price was $1,275. B94F2DF4-F69C-4A4E-A8CF-D21E587A8142.png

Looks gorgeous. Nice contrast with the black roof and nacelles. I'm still waiting to see my first Red Mist in-person; hopefully soon.

Consider changing your Forum description from the 2015 Stingray to the 2021...or both if you still have the 2015.

Congrats!
Didn’t realize it said 2015. That was my old car that was sold. Only Corvette I have is this C8

if you are in the GTA you are welcome to come and see it. It’s at my office underground

Looks great. Now get some PPF on there to protect that finish from the stone chips.

Doesn't PPF have to go on first before ceramic coating? Thats what my detailer said was best. He did the paint correction first. Then PPF and then ceramic coating on top. Said the PPF wouldn't adhere as good with a slippery surface that ceramic coat does. Mine turned out great that way.

You may be right. I would be at least removing the ceramic off some of the more susceptible rock chip areas, applying the PPF and then ceramic coating over it then. Unfortunately, ceramic looks great but does nothing to protect the finish from road debris.
