Kerry I agree with Kevin his Vert won't be here till late this summer if at all, need a sales guy to chime in here but I don't think your dealer is doing more for you then any other dealer after your car is at 3000 the price is locked in
Maybe EJ or Morgan can once they know more on this let us know I have read where 3000 Status vehicles could be pushed to a 2021 if your towards the back end of the line like most convertibles seem to be a later TPW fingers crossed m=but my fingers are getting numb

Once the plant closes a the end of shift today, that's it for now and I don't think anyone will have any insight on ETA's until manufacturing resumes. It would be a guess by anyone at this point. Maybe just a couple of weeks. May be a couple of months or longer. Judging by the idiots on Spring Break in Florida, I am leaning to the couple of months given the spreading of the virus that is going to happen from all the Tide Pod Eaters. Hate to say it, but if people do not follow the guidelines of social distancing, then we are in for a long slow burn on our economic output worldwide. This is awful for sure but we have to all be understanding here. This is a bigger issue than just our new shiny toys. I agree that it may be likely that convertibles are hit harder here. They may try to make up numbers in just coupes if that provides faster production with lower learning curve. But that would just be my speculation. When the plant does come back online, they will want to make up for lost production and that may mean streamline production to increase speed.
My convertible went from a TPW of April 6th to April 20th as of yesterday. It will just keep changing every week. This is directly tied to COVID-19 and the plant closure after shift ends tonight. I highly doubt it will reopen after the 30th. I have no idea when I can expect my vert. I guess I'll just have to take delivery whenever it comes, even if it ends up being a 2021 and arrives in time to hibernate for the winter.

The problem in part is the media has weaved this narrative that this is an old people virus. Every time they report deaths they qualify it with the age of the deceased. They need to stop that really if there's any chance of convincing the younglings.

No not normal but I'm not normal. LOL. Glad I did though. I took money out of investments to buy a 2019. and glad I did considering what is happening now. Those investments are half what they were back then. There were problems with the new 19 Vette so took it back. They gave me a full refund and i said just keep the money in trust and order me a new 2020. Honestly because of out tax implications I didn't have any where to put to the money back into. If I go over a certain amount of income I lose my OAS ( I hate giving the government more money than I have to ) My TSFA was maxed and if I put it in other investments I get nailed for capital gains when I want to take it out again. The government doesn't make things easy and I have an awesome tax accountant who saves me money every year because she is smart. I'm not. LOL. So yeah it was all related to a tax thing is why I paid for most of the car up front. Ended up working great for me. Plus our Canadian dollar has dropped around 6 cents since then. I just got lucky and happy with how it turned out.
