You never know BDK. There is a fellow in the Toronto area that goes on some of the cruises that has his C5 done like that, not sure if it is a wrap or paint. It looks tough in a good way.

Lets head over to Stan's for a coffee and maybe a donut or two...

Fuel Injection Stacks. Seem to recall, and of course could be wrong, but they used long injector stacks on automatic cars short stacks on manuals. Sign Corvette Fun Field, must be in the back of Rruuff Day's place.

Did you know that General Motors had a division that created tricky and interesting stuff, it was known as the CTIS Division and later went on to develop interesting things such as the Corvair, Pontiac Aztec, Chevrolet Citation, Pontiac Fierro and others. It is rumoured they provided assistance to Ford on the Pinto design but that is unsubstantiated.

CTIS's only known involvement in the Corvette brand was their suggestion to mount the "wet" lead acid battery in the engine compartment right above the very expensive and sadly obsolete electronics which as we know run the entire car.

In the 50's they worked on hiding gas fillers and here is just a few of them.
