Yes but do you have all those custom welds on yours...
Does "custom" = "crappy"? LOL. Not that I know how to weld, but I've seen many car shows that demonstrate the proper way to clean up welds to look good.

Grinding welds to make them look good only works if you're a decent welder. Otherwise, when you grind off the slag the piece you welded falls apart....lol.... A friend told me that....

Well, I can't even get two things to stick let alone be able to grind them down! So far be it for me to criticize. LOL
 
I was a self taught oxy-acetylene (gas) welder, graduated to Metal Inert Gas (MIG) and finally Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG). In the beginning I experienced all of the details laid out here, but my TIG welds looked perfect, except overhead aluminum, NEVER could get that. Anyway my point is some of us have gone through these situations but still that does not give us the right to criticise....ONLY ON THIS FORUM....LOL.
