Picture for XFIRE

Some Canadian history in this picture

Murray some guys may have missed your note about Canadian history so I have taken the liberty of including the history of Karbelt Speed and Custom in Toronto -- the '58 is almost hidden in background.

Karbelt Speed & Custom was founded in a basement on Bay Street in Toronto in March 1952 by George and Lois Foote as KAR-BELT. It started with distributing seat belts, but eventually began offering other automotive parts.

In 1961, the name was changed to Karbelt Speed & Custom, Inc., and became the first company in Canada to offer independent retail sales of performance parts.

The most famous car sponsored by Karbelt was my business partner's record holding "Percy Also". Here's picture from US Nationals at Indianapolis. Note - looks like same pick-up truck in both shots. Sorry for deviation from "Picture for XFIRE" thread.

Peter, not my cup of tea either but I am in awe of the painters ability to do this car. He/She may not have great taste but certainly skills.

Peter, by the way your pic of Percy Also found its way onto the HAMB. Thought that was interesting.
