Picked up My 2022 C8 3LT Z51 Corvette Yesterday In Victoria

I did buy in Kelowna. I paid MSRP but I ordered a long time ago. Also there was a mistake on my order (interior colour) that was too late to change so they ordered me another car. Then they made their $$$ on my initial order lol. And I waited.
THAT is why everyone should have them send you a snapshot of the Workbench entry. Did they offer you any kind of compensation?

I was told if I trade in for an e-ray they will give me what I paid - Duecks. Nice guys eh? They would turn around and sell it he told me for $10K more.

James….
I am so privileged to have been able to drive your new wheels.
I loved that you came to visit. Certainly nice to tour some of the South Langley backroads.
The car is amazing to drive, amazing to listen to, amazing to be in.!
My buddy Norm sure liked that car and thanked us for stopping by. He is on a list for a C8 Z06 to replace his immaculate 2017 Z06. He is more excited now.
Even though it has not yet reached past the break-on period I could feel it just wants to ’go’.
For people that are disheartened that there is no standard shift available you have to feel this car shift!! That dual clutch auto is so quick you will be amazed! It constantly ‘pulls’ thru all the gears. If it wasn’t for the change in exhaust note during the shift you would think it is a constant pull.
And listening to the rev-matching on the auto downshifts will make you giggle.
We didn’t yet use the paddle shifters but that will be another element of driving that I’m sure James will find soon enough.
I also will say the ergonomics in this cars was amazing.. I have a C3 & C5 Vette as well as other vehicles. When I dropped into these new seats everything was right where it should be. Pushing, and holding the top-down button was the only thing that we were tested with. The regular driving controls were all there exactly where they should be.! Off we went on the open road.
Don’t even worry about what you paid.. it is now YOUR car to enjoy.
That smile on your face is pretty awesome. The fellows at Timmies sure liked it too.

thank you James. We had some smiles that day.
again.. so excited/ privileged to have you as my co-pilot in your OWN car. LOL
Here are some pics my wife took as we drove away.

The smile on your face Graham was exhilarating man . You were enjoying every minute, I could tell. There is not any other person I would have enjoyed letting drive my new C8 than you man.. Great day, great roads to drive on and great company. Your wife was a doll and a great picture taker.:Cheers2: Cheers Pal.

No, the second car was only about 6 weeks behind. I put in my original order, got a copy of the Workbench, then changed my mind a week later with a confirmed email exchange but I guess they got busy and didn’t enter it into the system. Too late to change by the time I found out.

Yes. I am waiting for a guy to come and apply ceramic coating to my car - high end stuff. Described it like this: the clear coat over my paint is a 3 in terms of hardness - after the ceramic coating a ten. Next day comes back and applies something else - a spray of some kind. Can't wait. I have to do something with the interior to protect it and make it easy to clean if I get some dirt on it as well.

I decided on PPF and had mine done at Vancouver Clearbra. It took longer than I hoped for but the results are good. I did a clearbra on my SLK350 in 2005 and took it off in 2017 and the clearbra had chips all over it but once removed the car was immaculate so go a great trade-in allowance. The negative aspect of ceramic is it does not protect against chipping and requires periodic reapplication/maintenance.
